Hello Chris,

I'm not a great fan of the F-14, a bit ugly if I'm honest and I know a lot of people like it but it's never done much for me. 'Eduard' are usually very good as Andy rightly says and 'Great Wall Hobby' are equally good if not better, but I love the F-15 and it has an outstanding service record - so I'd like to see you build the F-15!!

I didn't know that you built plastic kits Chris let alone aircraft? I thought you were a 'dyed-in-the-wool' wooden ship modeller? What a nice surprise!! Cool ThumpUp

Hi guys, Thanjs for the input. Im looking into what extras I can add to the kits aswell. The F-14 comes with some PE, Brassin Resin seats, wheels and exhaust nozzles. Where as the F-15 only has 8 pieces of PE. It needs some Aces II resin seats and more PE. Lots of scratching too.
Kev, I've done plastic planes for near 30 yrs but have not done one for about 8 yrs. Ive got a stash of about 10 kits to do. eduard 1/48 fw190c and fw190b, Tamiya 1/48 Me262, 1/72 Me109, 1/48 Bubbletop, Revell 1/72 Tornado gr4 with flightpath upgrades. Here is one of my models done.. Only pics I have of my models as all are gone now...

Hello Chris,

Oh yeah .... I remember seeing that one in the 'Finished Builds Gallery' some time ago, forgot it was yours, very nice Chris!! The last heli that I built was many, many years ago when Airfix first released their original kit of the SA Puma and I seem to remember it was a nicely detailed kit even back then? I would like to do another heli sometime soon, especially a British 'Chinook' in 1:48 (they fly low over my house regularly on training exercises). I also quite fancy the Italeri 1:48 kit of the 'Falklands' Wessex which has had good reviews?

Some nice kits in your stash Chris, would like to see the Fw190s and the Me262 built?

Nice to chat about aircraft kits - my favourite genre, though I like military also and getting into figure modelling now as well! Cool ThumpUp

Cheers Chris, looking forward to following your build (of the F-15!)?

Hi Chris,

From a purely selfish point of view I would like to see you build the Eduard Danger Zone, as I have that kit & would like to see how it goes together.
