Had a bash at them tonight and they are a nightmare! I managed to snap of the end of the solenoid so I had to glue it, just hoping it will hold. Actually i wanted to build this stage this evening.
Reading all the comments about the hoses i wonder if i should watch tv with my wife instead :)

davidyat here. I just finished the 8th packet and noticed you've done pack 9 and 10. Seeing the talk about putting on the hoses and snapping of plastic parts, and before I make the same mistake, are the hoses made out of rubber or soft plastic? If so, do you think soaking the ends of the tubes in hot water to soften them up make it easier to install and NOT have the prospect of snapping off plastic parts?

Just read back a few of your updates Steve, those hubs look amazing!
Although I have no interest in Formula 1 the more I see of these kits and the detail in them I keep thinking I should be adding one to my wants list
