Great story Andy, thanks for posting it. What a harrowing and utterly terrifying experience that must have been for those brave guys and as Mr John Lourellio said - you wouldn't sell the experience for a million dollars but it's not something you'd want to do again!!?

That photo of the LVT-4 'Water Buffalo' heading for shore has just reminded me that I need to get my almost completed 'AFV Club' 1:35 scale model of that vehicle out of storage and get it finished. Cool ThumpUp
