Can't believe the last issues have been sent! (well excluding the extension) Really enjoyed this series. I've built up to issue 96 but I need to spray the racing shell..

Last 2 issues to go. 113/115.

A few cosmetic jobs to finish and the almighty first break in.
And we all set!

Such an awesome build thoroughly enjoyed it.
Can't believe two years has come and gone!

I got my last issues in Feb and are all still in my R/C hauler waiting to be built which will be as soon as I can get the other 6 R/C cars finished.

I am also waiting for all 115 issues to be put on the online store so I can buy the 15 extension issues but also back issues for spares.

When they get put online they will be here for uk people:DeAgostini Online shop for Back Issues

For Australia I'm not sure as there is no online shop on the Australian website so you might have to get them through customer services.

Just did issues 20-80, feeling very accomplished. Running real low on grease for the moving parts Crying gotta get some paint in for the bodies. Anyone know if Klear will be a suitable varnish? I'm pretty sure it's aqueous.

I am currently on pack 20 - with 2 packs every month.. i will soon complete it within the next 3~4 mths?

here is where i am at

Noticed a couple of issues.. with the ground clearance, and found a spare ball end to fix it.

also found that the stock or current center rear shaft is making "clicking" noise.. and the video diaries shows the same. apparently it's a inherited issue..

found a fix, by add spacer to lift up the centre and the "clicking" sound stops... and now it's smooth!

Also an Aussie, here: Kempsey. N.S.W.
The Australian contact, should you have any problems obtaining magazine/parts issues, is: Ph. 03 9872 4000 and their web address is: www.buildRB7.com.au

My newsagent, here in Smith Street Kempsey, arranged all 115 issues for me. Even a number of back-order issues were no trouble for my newsagent to obtain for me... through in reality with having to see me every week for almost two years chasing up my parts: I'm sure that was a major headache in itself.

I do, now, have more than enough parts to complete my (hopefully) masterful rendition of Mick Webber's RB7.

The running body hasn't been touched, yet: I'm sure I'll get around to it soon enough. But, the display body is well under way to it being ready to paint (the colder weather is really the only thing holding me back on that avenue... I believe it's a way better paint job when completed in weather above freezing.

Regardless of all the "ifs, Buts & how-ya-goin's" I faced during the collection of parts; waiting more than a year before I even opened issue 1, let-a-lone consider starting such a mammoth project: then pulling down, rebuilding, and stripping down the car once again to paint all the intricate brake cooling ducts, aerodynamic "this" and aerodynamic "that" down on the wishbone, the suspension setups, if you will; tuning vanes, steering wheel, head rest, nose cone, pilot tube, antenna, TV camera, mirrors; stickers, stickers, stickers, stickers, and even some more stickers. Oh yeah, and don't forget all the stickers. And we haven't even started with the running body. So, yes, "ladies and gentlemen" & "boys and girls"... we've all got ourselves a mammoth task ahead of us to complete this one of a kind rendition from the most popular motor sport in the world.
