Any Alien fans here? You've probably already heard that the director of District 9, Neil Blomkamp, is set to start work on a new Alien Film with Sigourney Weaver also confirmed! Apparently it's to be set between the 2nd and 3rd Alien Film so we could see the return of Hicks. http://www.empireonline.com/news/story.asp?NID=43633Building the MP4/4!

Ridley Scott is doing the sequel to his Prometheus which may be out in 2016-17 which is a new reboot so to spek and a prequel to the original Alien. He also, said that he will never bring one of the Aliens back into his films now that 20th century fox have more or less made him a Disney attraction. The new alien film from Mr Blomkamp is a sequel to the Alien Franchise of old where we last saw Ripley landing (sort of) back on earth. Would be interesting to see how they can do a movie that takes place between Aliens and Alien 3 (where hicks is dead) At the beginning of Alien3 you are shown a quick intro to what happened with a face hugger getting into one of the crio tubes and bleeding acid starting a fire which led to the evacuation of the Sularco thus landing on the prison planet... So... Either it's a very small script or a very very small budget! My guess is that it will be about Amanda Riley and a completely new story and twist to the franchise where Mrs Weaver will be some kind of hologram or clone Seeing as all these years gone past have taken there toll on Mrs Weaver, so I very much doubt she will be striking a pose with a pulse rifle any day soon. Saying that! technology is a great thing and if they can bring Arnie back in the new Terminator film then I'm sure they can bring back anything.. Spencer

Very interesting and explains a lot, I still think the Prometheus is a great film although it needs watching several times so everything falls into place Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Hi, I loved Aliens so much that when it originally came out on video i hired it over & over again for about 2 months. I must have watched it 50 or 60 times back then & knew the entire script from memory. This was when video tapes cost a fortune to buy. I also remember that it won film of the year in a viewers poll when Barry Norman hosted the Film programme on BBC, much to his dismay.I really love that film. Stu.

I saw the original Alien movie on opening night the 6 ish showing. Got 2 buttons that say "You are my Lucky Star" (what Sigourny said in the shuttle toword the end of the movie).
Creeped me out! Still love that movie though!
Oh and there is a new resin kit just released by Polar lights. It is William Hurt's character in space suit kneeling and looking at one of the "eggs".
