Hey people. A quick question for you if I may. I am ordering the busa soon but I'm not overly keen on the colour finish. I'm wondering how easy it is to remove the paint finish it comes with and apply my own. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Hi GPS, welcome to the forum and the Busa build There may be the possibility of other coloured body panels being available towards the end of the build, see link below. http://deagostini.jp/shb...shbmt_gol_lis_til_00008
Hope that may be of some use. Al

Thanks Spal, I'll check it out. I'm thinking along the lines of a custom paint job on the frames, fairings etc so wondering if those items can be sanded clean and resprayed

Welcome to ModelSpace
No reason why you can't sand the paint finish back, but be mindful that you'll then have to create a decal set.

I am doing the same with mine, any good decal company can make you scale decals.

Thanks Mr T and Nems, really appreciate the replies. I think that's the way I'll go then. With reference to the decals, I shall endeavour to replace the suzuki names and use the attachable ones during the build but have something else planned for the Hayabusa name on the fairings. Of course, I say planned because it may not turn out the way I'm thinking lol
