Well I was dragged into shopping with the wife yesterday at ASDA, but as I didn't wish to look at clothing, I went walk about, and came across the stationary isle, and there staring me in the face was a container of 45 x 19mm bulldog clamps for £1 Just thought I would pass this on if any of you fancied getting some on your next shopping trip. Best Wishes David Ship Builds on the go

LMAO David!! Things do take there time getting down to your neck of the woods!!! Spotted them at the begining of the build and spent a well earned £5 on them! Now go look in your local Wilkinsons, I know you have them I used to deliver to there depot at Magor! Stationary again and find the boxes of 20 Binder Clips (right£price) Little silver ones also a pound, hoping the other £5 spent on them will make them usefull as well!! They have probably been there for months, but due to the stroke, I haven't been getting out much, although I did get 50 black and silver bulldog clamps like the ones you state Wilkinsons selling, for £1:50 in the RANGE. The only reason I mentioned them was due to Zeptrader post about using the clamps for planking the hull, the way he modified them and the price ASDA are selling them for, make them ideal for anyone wanting to adapt to this method of planking. Zaptraders Idea for modifying bulldog clamps to aid planking the hull (Good Reading)Ship Builds on the go
