Hi not sure where to put this.but try here.anyway this is how I first started ship builds a long time ago now.the bismarck. This was built when I was 16 to 18 when finished she at a scale of 1/192 as this was only plans could get then she is totally scratch built.bread and butter hull contraction.solid teak deck 3000 planks, guns all turned ally barrels, all rotated with elevating barrels via cam I built into turrets. That's a hell of a project for your first build, looks like you did a really good job with it

Certainly looks the part, I bet you had a great feeling watching her sail for the 1st time  Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Hi me sure did she sailed well. Sadly I had to sell her when ressesion hit in late 90s to pay the bills.there were no kits back then.or any aftermarket stuff can buy these days.no Internet to looks things up.I bought the tamiya 1/350 plastic kit an copied that for detail.as the drawings me had were just general arrangement ones. Looks fantastic and what a project for a first build, puts my Airfix HMS Belfast to shame If you do ever build another then a diary would be very welcome. Steve
