Can I just ask what type of gold paint you are using for the bling? It looks a nice yellowy gold, or is it actually real gold leaf that you're applying!?

Kev the paint I use is 22c real gold paint . I have had

it for years . We used it on a job in a house that had gold leaf on some of the carvings .

I think the company that makes it are no longer there Crying

As you can see I haven't fitted it to the ship yet as I am worried about nocking it off while I fit the ratlines Blink

I have fitted some more bling to the bow and rigged the catharping Cool

Next job the stays on the foremast - mainmast - and mizzenmast ThumpUp as you can see all done and not to much of a hassle BigGrin

On to the next part of the build backstays BigGrin

Drilling out the holes for the belay pins behind the rat lines on the bulwark was a bit of a hassle but got there in the end Confused , I have made the first of the main mast backstays BigGrin
