We live in a great time for modelers. There are so many amazing kits available in all categories.
But we always want more don't we. So I am asking for people to post what their dream model would be.
This could be a subject in a scale never done before or in a material never done before. This could be something not feasible to build or not practical-just something you wish you could build.
So what do you wish would be under the tree next Christmas?
Here is my list
1/16 scale P512 Mustang 1/16 Scale Corsair F4
Liberator from Blakes 7 series
The ships from the video game Homeworld
1/12 scale Lunar module

I'll second the P-51 and Corsair. I'll raise you a Spitfire(any mark), and double down with a Bf-109 (E-series, or any later series) The only proviso would be that they be the same construction method as the Zero. Tired, Old, and Cranky!

I would like a STNG Enterprise in the filming scale (like with the M.Falcon one). Metal armature, windows, lights, removable top to see the bridge, shuttle bay - the whole shebang. That and additional Star Wars models to match the Falcon scale - speeder bike, snowspeeder, D.V. Tie. Nice.... Built: Terminator T-800 Battle Damage Working on: DeAgostini Falcon On the bench: BanDai R2/R5, Pegasis T2 Tank and HK (both with Light kits), 40+ more

Im a huge star wars fan and since we have the Falcon, ... I would jump at a chance to build either a Super Star Destroyer or the Tantive IV

That would be my dream build...[/size] Current Builds: Deagostini HMS Victory: Deagostini HMS Sovereign of the seas. Completed Builds: Del Prado: HMAS Bounty: Hachette: RMS Titanic: Del Prado: Cutty Sark...

+1 on ModelMania's Lotus 49 Gold Leaf in 1:8 th scale, and add the debut Lotus 49 Ford Cosworth that Jim Clark won the Dutch GP with-- such an iconic racer , first win for legendary Ford Cosworth V8, engine designed to be a stressed member of chassis, an opportunity to release the engine as a subscription all by itself.

Eagle wrote:It just amazes me how Deag models of American aircraft and automobiles get released in Britain before the USA It is a fairly new company in USA ,but it has been in Europe for almost 100 years. They will initially produce kits for their large and mature market in Europe. I am sure we will see more and more kits coming to USA in the future and maybe we will even see launches over here too. It is a great time to be a modeler Carl

Titanic with interior detailing...
Installments could be hull slices for each watertight compartment. Each compartment split in half longitudinally to allow view of the interior. Ribbing could be lasercut. Plating could be laser cut strips of cardstock. Look at how the DC-3 kit goes together and think oceanliner instead of airliner.

I would love to see a studio scale version of the Millenniu.... oh wait... In all honesty though, I'd love a 1:43 scale model of the hanger bay scene of the escape from the Death Star. That would be a great way to display my Falcon! If at first you don't succeed,
maybe you should skip the chainsaw juggling...
