Hi was given the airfix 1/24 mosquito. Not being one to turn down a free kit, I was wondering if anyone built this, and what they thought.think ill do it straight from the box as looks rather impressive as it is.cheers and happy moddelling mick.  Builds hms victory, suzuki gsx 1300 R hayabusa, honda C B 750, lamborghini countach L P 500 S, tamiya 1/16 rc full option tiger 1 tank,

Not built it myself but looks a very nice kit, certainly a great gift anyway, wish I was that lucky I was considering it once but the prices went a bit silly. I think it suffers from the usual Airfix sink problems and also the sprues being to thick at the cut points for the more delicate parts (a problem never seen on Tamiya kits) There is a re-release of this in October which at least will stop the old kits being sold at way above their value. Love to see your build though Steve

Hi ay having quick look at it be bit of filling on ejector marks.just do these on parts at show.did have look on ebay, I agree Steve silly money.yes ill do diary when get around to starting her.couple of projects need to finish first.cheers mick.
