Hi was given the airfix 1/24 mosquito. Not being one to turn down a free kit, I was wondering if anyone built this, and what they thought.think ill do it straight from the box as looks rather impressive as it is.cheers and happy moddelling mick. BigGrin BigGrin

built, Mclaren M P 4 - 23. Occre london tram,
Stash.airfix 1/24 mosquito. Diag Virginia schooner, tamiya 1/6 honda 750, tamiya 1/35 famo, tamiya 1/35 flak 88.

Not built it myself but looks a very nice kit, certainly a great gift anyway, wish I was that luckyBigGrin

I was considering it once but the prices went a bit silly. I think it suffers from the usual Airfix sink problems and also the sprues being to thick at the cut points for the more delicate parts (a problem never seen on Tamiya kits)

There is a re-release of this in October which at least will stop the old kits being sold at way above their value.

BigGrin Hi Mick not built this one myself but do have the Tiffy and that,s a great kit. I know you said that your doing a ROOTB build but these brass guns for the kit may be of interest. Link below
