You need to reduce the last ribs to match the angle of the false keel, it isn't you that's the way the ship is made most of the last ribs get filed or sanded off.

If the keel is 2mm in at the top, the transom thickness needs to be reduce 2mm at the top and if it is 6mm in at the bottom then again reduce the transom 6mm at the bottom.

It is very important to get the stern right the transom needs to be flat to the false keel or the rudder won't fit.

So nearly three years to the day I last touched my Victory I have started it again. With much encouragement from my wife. So here are a few picks of the planking i have been doing over the last few days. Just waiting now for my new knife with some very sharp blades to be brave and cut out the gun ports.
