Hi all.
I would like to know if i have to fair the ribs all the way to the decks at the stern of the ship(last 3 ribs)?
My problems is that the decks protrude 1mm past the ribs on all of them on both sides, bar rib 15, and the last 3 ribs at the stern (both sides)
The decks all meet in the middle. Its a bit of a tight fit ,very snug in between the ribs. I havnt even glued anything, all is dry fitted.
So... should i sand the decks to meet the ribs at the middle of the hull, the easier option, (warning signs of a symmetrical nature are sounding now) or do i build up the ribs with 1-2mm strips to meet the decks?
Also with the last 3 ribs on both sides (rib 27,28,30) should i sand these down to the decks?
Thinking of symmetry. I fear its all gone to **** on that one due to rib 15.
Sorry if its already been mentioned and i missed it.
i dont know what weapons will be used in ww3 but ww4 will be sticks and stones.

Hi shipmates, upon the subject of fairing the hull, when fairing the section immediately below frame 30 and the actual bottom of the false keel, is this part being fared down to 2mm and when planked, it will be built up to 6mm??? much obliged...Blink
