Looking good Chris I use the same primer, excellent stuff, don't try sanding it though until it's had 48-72 hours to cure or it just rolls off like pva...trust me, I know Steve

Lovely work, I had a bit of a bad experience with the Vallejo primer so have reverted back to Tamiya fine surface primer, I have still have some Vallejo in the cupboard though so might have to experiment a bit

Cheers guys. I thinned mine 20% UMP thinners 80% vallejo. Gave a mist over first left it a couple minutes then sprayed normally. Got great results with it. I used to use citadel rattle can but you lose most everywhere and you can't get into the finer areas with it. Thanks Chris On the bench 1/350 Revell Tirpitz Platinum Edition (Pontos PE and Wooden deck) plus extra Eduard PE set and extra MK1 door sets.

Nice work on the guns Chris, great to see some detail appearing now and I agree with Steve, you do need to leave the Vallejo primer longer than most before sanding? For that reason I now tend to use either Tamiya Fine Surface Primer or Halfords Primer both decanted first then put through an airbrush and I've never had any problems with them and with the Halfords primer you can confidently sand after 24 hours and it won't lift off the model surface?
