That is coming along a treat.

While I was some way off from ever looking at my kit it's moved up the pile seeing yours coming together.

Just ordered some of the etched parts myself but turnaround seems awfully slow (or is it me just being impatient 😴

Difficult decisions when ordering the etch as I did notice some of the smaller frets seem to carry different postage rates and that is fairly high per unit.

Looking forward to your next update on this one.

Happy Modelling

Hi Tony. I believe he is just a one man operation so turnaround Nevis fairly slow. Usually about a the eek between ordering and postage. I usually receive my orders about 2-3 weeks after ordering, but I'm in New Zealand so the distance may have something to do with that too lol. In my opinion they are well worth the wait.

Time for another update. I received the deckhouse walls for the wheelhouse to the gymnasium today. As usual, window frames scraped back to bare brass. Also added the first deckhead above the officers quarters. The last 4 pictures show the next lot of etches ordered.

Thanks all. No that is not my dome. That is what it will look like once I have constructed it. I have only just ordered those etches so a few weeks and they will be here. The model is going to need some modifications as I intend to use the correct oval dome.
