Hello all

I was sent pack 1 which I found had a defective part, but replacement
was sent. Then pack two arrived,I found one part badly warped and one part
snapped. All replaced, and then pack 3 arrived yesterday with a view to start construction this evening and to my horror
the main part was snapped in half with a small section broken off.

So at the moment I've had packs 1,2 & 3 replaced and only managed
to construct pack 1 in 3 months.

Has anyone else suffered this fate?

I've contacted DeAgostini so hopefully these issues can be rectified.

Regards.

Alan

HI Alan,Crying

Sorry to hear of your problems with deliveries.

When the Spitfire started, there was a similar issue. This was sorted by using boxes to dispatch the parts.

Hope you get sorted soon.

Good morning Derek

I did receive packs 1 & 2 in boxes, and thereafter padded envelopes.
I'm sure this is where the problem lies.

Are padded envelopes the norm now?

Regards

Hi Alan,
I did have a few issues at the start of the build but were soon over come by placing parts loose in over sized boxes, this is how they are dispatched now with no problem. Hope this is helpful to you.

Hello Trev

I hope this is what happens, I'm really keen to build-I've got a pile of ply and can't do anything with it!

I'm sure it will be resolved soon.

Thanks

Alan

Hello all

Have now received most of the replacement parts and pleased to say the build is going well.

All I'm waiting for now is a replacement spar (pack 3) so I can continue with the wing construction.

Roll on May!
Think I might be well and truly hooked!

Cheers.

Alan
