Evening all,

I am worried I might have missed something on the stern...
In issue 39 photo 20 the sapele strips are put on.
In issue 40 photo 13 the lower gunwale is put on.
So far so good.
Now in issue 50 most of the photos show what looks like a second
gunwale in natural wood above the lower gunwale.
I have been through all the intervening issues and cannot find any
reference to it.
Can someone save my remaining sanity or show me what my new glasses
are not!!
Sorry if I'm wasting someone's time but I am now on issue 53/54 and
need an answer!
This is so much fun with a real sense of achievement (so far!)
Many thanks,
Kev

Hi Kev, what you see is just the way the photo's have been taken. There isn't a second gunwale on the stern, just the single one painted black. Here is a link to the stern of my build and you will see one gunwale only.... Hope this helps and answers your question.....Cool Cool

Many thanks Alan.
Really appreciate the quick response. It's great having you guys around looking after us newbies.
I only wish I had got into this years ago!

No problem Kev, just happy to be of assistance to whoever needs it... Good luck with the rest of your build...
