Look awesome mate, this a very different looking ship one I've never seen before. You've done an amazing job with it mate. I thought it was wood at first you've done that well. Chris On the bench 1/350 Revell Tirpitz Platinum Edition (Pontos PE and Wooden deck) plus extra Eduard PE set and extra MK1 door sets.

Stunning work Ken The rigging on ships is a mix of ropes standing rigging ie shrouds are black with tar. Running rigging is off white / light brown as these where not tarred so they will run through the blocks hope this helps rgd Martyn Building ? Completed. Soliei Royal . Sovereign of the Seas . Virginia . Scotland . San Felipe . Corel vasa , Santisima Trinadad X section , Vasa Next Build ? When sailors have good wine, They think themselves in heaven for the time. John Baltharpe

Don't be silly Ken! Really enjoying seeing this one come together! The plastics are so different in technique to wood (as I fondly remember! Besides, the rigging is the most enjoyable part of any ship! Ow! by dose just hit da monitor screen! Robin First wooden ship: The Grimsby 12 Gun 'Frigate' by Constructo Second: Bounty DelPrado Part Works Third: HMS Victory DelPrado Part Works 1/100 scale Diorama of the Battle of the Brandywine from the American Revolutionary War Diorama of the Battle of New Falkland (unfinished sci-fi), Great War Centenary Diorama of the Messines Ridge Assault Index for the Victory diary is on page 1

Well I've done a bit on the rigging no pics as you wouldn't even notice what I've done, the instructions are so complex (even though I have English versions (I think that may even make it worse)) I have an idea I've gone as far as I want with this one. the rigging is going to take twice as long as the model took. it is rapidly heading to the shelf of doom. Ken's the name modeling's the game.

Hi all you may think I've given up on this but I assure you I've not, I've spent all week on the rigging (not enough to bother posting but enough to drive me insane (I don't remember all the Airfix tall ships I built giving me so much trouble), must be the destructions, hopefully some pics tomorrow. I've done some work on the Royal Sovereign and finished the Honda vfr 750 f but, by the time I've done it, it's too late to post. Ken's the name modeling's the game.
