Cunard 175th Anniversary Three Queen's Meeting Options

On the 24th May, Queen Mary 2 arrives in Liverpool and the next day, 25th May, will sail to meet Queen Elizabeth & Queen Victoria.
The fleet will sail in formation along the Mersey for the perfect photo opportunity.
Queen Mary 2 departs the Mersey that afternoon and Queen Elizabeth departs that evening. Queen Victoria remains in Liverpool until 26th May, departing late afternoon.

Schedule:
Sunday 24 May
9am – Queen Mary 2 arrives in the city and berths at Liverpool Cruise Liner Terminal
10.30pm – Firework display
Monday 25 May
10.45am – Queen Mary 2 leaves the berth to greet her two sisters at Brazil Buoy (on the river between Crosby Beach and New Brighton)
12pm to 2pm – Three Queens meet and sail in formation south towards the Liverpool Echo Arena, and then north along the Mersey
2.10pm – Queen Mary 2 leaves the city, Queen Elizabeth berths at the Cruise Liner Terminal and Queen Victoria anchors in the middle of the Mersey
10.30pm – Firework display, after which Queen Elizabeth leaves the city and Queen Victoria berths at the Cruise Liner Terminal
Tuesday 26 May
4.30pm – A special musical sail-away performance to say goodbye to Queen Victoria
5pm – Queen Victoria sails out of the Mersey

I will be there. And for anybody traveling to see this I strongly recoment the Maratime Museium three floors of model ships!!!! and a new exerbition on the sinking of the Lucitania and free entery!!

If anybody needs advice on best places to Park in liverpool drop me a line

5th-7th June - The International Mersey River Festival and On the Waterfront concerts will take place on the Pier Head and Albert Dock sites.

Ending the spectacular maritime theme is the July celebration of the first transatlantic crossing as Cunard’s flagship Queen Mary 2 sails from Liverpool, recreating the original voyage of Britannia from Liverpool to Halifax and Boston which first set out in July 1840.

Hi jase, I think we are going to it. We are going to watch her come in tomorrow from our house as we can see the ships go across the horizon into Liverpool from Colwyn bay. Chris

Think you have the right idea veiwing from outside Liverpool. Took me 2 hours to drive from warringtom to north wales today!!!!!!

New Brighton is busy already, can only get worse, its very gloomy at the moment though, any luck it wil clear up for the fireworks tonight
