I received issues 22 - 25 not so long ago, now awaiting my next lot of stuff. Jacklin is also not open to the part of using couriers, and each time when you ask them for your issues you get the standard answer of 28 days...Confused

I spoke to Jacklin yesterday. Issues 31-34 are on the way and that is about 28 days since my last issues. I enquired about a tracking number and they said that they will not send it to me, I must ask for itHuh so I will be phoning in about a months time.

It is like they are not even committed to proper customer care, they just post the stuff and you have to wait 28 days before you can follow it up, as that is the same rhyme they give you all the time. Bloody irritating.

i last received parts on the 12th of Feb, so not 28 days anymore, you send them a email and they don't respond.

is there any more free gifts which we will get from them? if not im seriously considering getting from the news agents once im up to date, im sure they are on like issue 40 already which i think is so unfair.

let me know your thoughts.

As far as I know the TX is the last of the free gifts. Also contemplated the news agents, but around here by us none of them keep the redbull booksCrying

Yes, the TX is the last free gift. I tracked issues 31 - 34 to Worcester this afternoon so I should get them tomorrow or Saturday. I am going on leave tomorrow so that will give me time to put on stickers etcBigGrin

I got my issues today so the next lot should be at the end of April. Getting the issues from the news agents might be risky because I have known them to suddenly stop getting them when you are halfway. I have had dealings with Jacklin before and did not have problems. I think it was the postal strike that threw them a bit of a curved ball. You must remember that when you are dealing with the call centre operators, some of them are more on the ball than others and I just accept that. Just be friendly and patient with them. Now I am going on leaveLaugh

Yeah this side I am still waiting for issues 30 and upwards. At this rate I'd hope my RB7 will be finished before Medupi...

All quiet this side. I will assemble the diff when I receive the next issues. Before I go any further there are some hassles that must be sorted. Loose wheel bearings and loose steering linkagesMad I should get my next issues soon. I will contact Jacklin.

Hi again gents

So I have received my issue 31-34 yesterday after a month of waiting and my tracking number was not traceable even with register post.
I also wanted to cancel my subscription but I think we all need to take it slow and just stick it out.
I do not think its Jacklin, after I received conformation of my tracking number in April the post office was the useless lot.
I sent Jacklin a email on monday and my lost issues was received the following day after threatening to cancel my subscription.
It seems Jacklin really try to keep us all happy but with the useless lot at the post office its not possible.

Happy building
cheers

I don't have a subscription... can kick my own butt for not going that route. I get my issues weekly from CNA. Haven't really had a issue with them yet, just one week RNA didn't deliver the books to CNA.

Welcome to the Forum, Ms Tr_B. It is a great place to be. By collecting your issues you are actually ahead of the subscriptions, otherwise price wise no difference and probably in some ways better off. Enjoy your build and I hope you post some pics in the build section.
