I love the Amelia Earhart story but despite this new theory I don't think anybody will ever come up with conclusive evidence as to where she died - the Pacific is just too big a place and "Needles in Haystacks" is probably a good description of the hunt for her last resting place? Much the same as the hunt for Glen Miller whom they can't find either and he only disappeared over the English Channel - a small stream compared to the vastness of the Pacific Ocean even if they are hunting in roughly the right place for Amelia?
An interesting post Steve.
