BigGrin Thanks everyone for looking in and your comments, the stove is situated on the upper gun deck between the main mast and fore mast just in front of the grating/stair section but just under the top deck so will just be visible looking inside and forward of the stowed launch's/boats in around the same position as on the Supprise.

BigGrin Hi All

Planking continues, around 10 planks left on this side and then the other side to finish. The hull shape on Eggs n Bacon makes the application of the second planking easy, some tapering at the front and minimal tapering if any at the stern and very few stealers so far. More soon.

BigGrin Hi All

The planking on one side is now finished and has been sanded back, the wood provided for the 1st and 2nd planking has been top quality that will go round sharp curves with a short soak in water and none split when doing this. Now for the other side. More soon.

Regards

BigGrin Thanks everyone for looking in and your comments, you can probably tell I am Having a great time building this kit. The kit includes all the 2500 copper tiles with rivet heads packed in two bags, so one for each side I presume that will be added after the main wales and the gun port linings are fixed in place.
I will be adding a 1mm x half mill strip around the waterline and tiling below this strip.

The book i mentioned buying for 33p arrived today and what a bargain looks brand new to me so here's a happy bunnyLOL Love Drool Cool
