Greetings from the first state I just ordered my Lamborghini Countach LP 500S back on 5/27 and right now waiting for it to ship is like watching a pot of water and waiting for it to boil.

They usually say 10-14 days for shipping, but many are posting it doesn't take that long. They will send you a notice when it ships.

I know I can't wait to start this model, I was once building a Rolls Royce Pocher model I had all the tiny parts separated into a plastic container and someone who was in my household at the time threw out the container without asking which pretty much shot $700.00 down the drain, so this model is replacing what was, I live by myself so this one should be safe.

Oh man that must have been a pretty bad day. That kit had about 3000 parts if I remember.Do you still have the kit? I know there are guys that would buy whats left of that kit or may even be able to replace the missing parts.let me know if you want contact information

I bought a Pocher kit off ebay years ago.THye said it was complete, but didn't mention that ALL of the small packets containing parts were opened and everything was thrown into one big box.It took me a week to do an inventory of parts.

Okay I got the first set of parts yesterday and so far I'm impressed, I mean even the wheels are metal, I also love the way the parts are packaged. I did notice one small blemish on the wing, it's a small dull spot that I'm trying to figure out the best way to correct it. Anyway I have a question they suggest storing the parts in something like a tool box can anyone suggest a good one?

BigGrin Hi Slee

Any large plastic storage box will do the best way to describe it is along the lines of big tupperware boxes that are available from most general household warehouses open to the public. A smaller one with compartments may also be handy to store screws and smaller parts.
One thing to watch out for if you are storing parts in a plastic container is that if you use superglue to fix anything together then wait at least 24 hours before sealing it in the container as this will prevent the white fogging that sometimes occurs from the fumes still coming off the superglue even though you think its set.
If your not happy with the finish on the wing you can always contact customer support for a replacement part and I would go down this route first.
There are products out there that modelers use to enhance finishes one is Johnson Klear floor wax and another is Tamiya's modeling wax, the Johnson,s stuff is a floor polish but can give remarkable results if you can still source it but the Tamiya wax is formulated for models both can give a high gloss finish.
