Hi everyone,
I'm up to Issue 41 now, where you start planking the decks and adding cannons.
I've tried to scan through the magazines to see when it's mentioned to cut away the frames for the cutaway section, but can't seem to see it mentioned.
When is the best time to cut the frames away for the cutaway section, as I do notice that there are some deck supports that might be needed when laying the deck.
Any advice would be great.
Thanks Ian

Also tells you so in 74..
Opening the gun deck cutaway - If you opted for the gun deck cutaway, you will need to remove the redundant central pieces of frame before you start adding further items on the hull.

Hello Ian I would suggest that you mark and stain all your decks, as the there is a large portion of the decks visible behind the cutaway into the rest of the ship. Alternatively you can build a wall around your cut out before you glue the cut out down. Just a suggestion. If you are able to get to the Victory you could take pictures of the interior from the cutaway POV points then use the pictures as a back drop to a wall around the cut out section giving an impresion of looking into the ship. would be a challange but i think doable and would look very very cool Jase “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” -Mark Twain
