BigGrin Hi all just thought I would post a tip on how to tie halyard blocks

I made a jig to hold the blocks so I have two hands free

Place the block on the pins and glue the 0.25 mm thread to the block with CA glue and rap the ends round so they meet

Next take the 0.5 mm thread and make a knot round the thicker rope and glue with a drop of CA

The next job is to rap the thinner thread round to make the wrappings do this as many times as you need

Then glue the free end and trim

This is my way of doing it but there is lots of others out there ThumpUp

Hope this helps rgd Martyn

Ps it also works on one hole blocks ThumpUp
