Hi all,

In an instruction to one of the models I'm building there is a recommendation to dye some of the wooden strips with a mixture of 30% shoe polish and a thinner.

Has any of you ever attempted something like that? Had it worked up well? And what's your recommendation for the thinner? I don't think a normal Tamiya acrylics thinner will be good?

I will experiment on my own but would be happy to get some tips before I start this possibly dirty work - thanks.

Happy building :-)
