Wanted to say Hello to everyone here. I use to do plastic car models as a kid and loved the plastic Monster kits. Wish I still had some of those. I have read the forums for a while and finally joined. I have decided to get back into modeling and hope to do it right. I would glue the models together back then but never did any of the detailing. I am a beginner here at all the detailing, and wooden ship building.
I am fortunate to have gotten the HMS Surprise. I intend to put that together eventually, but want to start out with simpler models... I have a Dinghy and a Whaleboat and hope to start them soon.
Looking forward to learning a lot and have my eye on that Millennium Falcon...it looks fantastic!!
