So this morning I joined the rest of the fellow builders of the Millennium Falcon. I had been watch other build for a while and decided to take the plunge. I'm not sure how much of the original kit I'll use because I like the detail of the 3D printing so much more but well see what the wife and the pocket book allows. I have a habit of buying the after market update kits for models. I'm looking forward to this build and to follow and see the progress of everyone else. Always looking for other ideas if you guy's and gals don't mind. Take care... Thank you for the welcome. I'm thinking about build diary when I start but not sure how much of the original kit I want to use or if I want to use 3D printed parts. I like the detail of the 3D printed. Doesn't hurt to have both just as long as I can afford what I get . This is completely different then a 1/48 UH-60 or a EA-6B, even a tank. I've never built a large space craft before, the only thing that I have that comes close to it are my large 1/6, 1/9 RC scale aircraft which are not fully completed yet. I use to go to the UK a lot when I lived in Germany a few years ago. I enjoyed every road trip. Welcome, good luck controlling the little guy on your shoulder. He has a tendency to be very persuasive with this kit.
