Hi guys and gals, Well, I bit the bullet and decided to build this behemoth! I'm actually pretty new to Sci-Fi, and until last week, I'd only ever seen the first Star Wars film........back in 1977! I really couldn't resist this model though. It looks amazing, and there are some great build logs here. I'm not a modelling newcomer. I've been building for almost 40yrs, and I'm a regular contributor to several modelling magazines, and I'm handy with an airbrush. I'm also ok with electronics, and fancy really souping this up with anything I can throw at it that will improve it. Here are some examples of my previous modelling work: As I only ordered the Millennium Falcon a couple of days ago, I have some time to plan how I'll tackle it. I'll airbrush and weather the interior and exterior, and I really fancy adding fibre optics. I've seen the extras on Shapeways, but what else could be used? (electronics, lights etc?) Great to be here!

Thanks for your replies.
I really can't wait for this to start arriving here. Been on a bit of a Star Wars kick recently with Sideshow Collectibles and Bandai, but I can really make a go of this one.
Regards, Jim
