Firstly, this is by no means a complaint or a cry for help,it's an observation.I am amazed at how much I have to build up the lower frames at the bow for planking. It does say in the book that some shims or packing may be required and from past experience I know that nothing is perfect on this build. The main culprits seem to be frames 12 & 13. I've had to build them up by at least the thickness of a plank (2mm).Before anyone asks if I have these frames pushed down enough the answer is yes. There was a time I would have got discouraged by this but I have since learned to adapt and press on.

its well documented that some building up is required if you look at the many build diaries. “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” -Mark Twain

But this much??? If your well aware of it how can you be suprised by how much, as it is debated at Lenght?? Not sure what your trying to to say or do??? “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” -Mark Twain
