I notice that there are no tapered planks at the stern. However, towards the bottom of the stern there appear to be very narrow planks.

I took the graphic image to be no more than a graphical representation of the various ages and types of wood used on the various repairs that had been done over time, to help understand her construction so detailed assessment on restoration could begin. I didn't see it as an accurate scale image of the hulls construction showing each and every plank run. I can only assume the construction methods used during the period would have including the likes of tapered planks and the addition of droppers and stealers where necessary. Maybe others can give a more definitive answer.... Cool Cool
