I watched the link he has very good ideas and he's funny. Thank you for that. I have following Foxx on his builds. They are both great guys, I don't know if Foxx is on this forum or the UK, but the both are on the Facebook forum and always willing to answer question or give advice, just be willing to hear every other word being Starship Filth lmao!!! Adam, This is where I had found Foxx. http://www.intscalemodel...c7b2e22b7c7c5000170c5ec
I never had a Facebook account, I wouldn't know who's on it. I did watch more of the guy building R2D2, I like what he does. Never used 502 oils to weather, what do you use to thin them? I thought about buying that fancy (FAQ Vol.1 AFV Painting Techniques Pigments DVD) that MIG has available. I'm always trying to improve my technique. I do want to try using them. Dwayne I am on that forum too, had a lot of time on my hands while waiting for my first shipment!!! As for the oil you use it straight from the tube or you can use multiple colors on a painters plate and mix to get different colors... big thing is to seal what you have already done with varnish, apply the oil and then rub it off, once you are happy with it let it dry for a few days...I am waiting on my shipment of paints from Spain or i would show you some things i have done myself... looks easy enough and talking with Foxx and Tony, they both assured me its easy and works great as long as you take your time and seal the model between layers of paint.

I need to seal with varnish. I would use Humbrol clear for the Tamiya (Acrylic) and oils. Okay.. And use model master with enamel. And as long as each one gets sealed I can still paint with what ever I want. This is the first time I've gone out and bought Tamiya paint. I've always used Model Master. Am I missing anything? I like how it has depth. It doesn't look like plastic. The silver really does change the appearance. Tamiya 1/32 P-51D, Revell 1/32 Bf 109G-6 x2 1/32 P-51B, 1/32 Trumpeter Bf109K-4, 1/32 Hasegawa Bf 109E, Testors 1/32 F-117, RMF 1/35 Tiger 1

That looks fairly amazing. Love the worn metal look. The scratch ring around the archway make it look realistic. Great job.

It's looking really great. A lot of time on fine detail touches like the colors on the instrument panel behind the couches. I thought about doing that too on the little round knobs, but my hand is not nearly steady enough to dot those little beggars. Keep up the great work!!
