HI:
The Sovereign of the Seas is now available at model space in the US> I went ahead and started the subscription. I am build the San Felipe right now, so by the time I get that model done is the time for the SOTS. I have been waiting for this ship for almost a year. I may just start building it alone with the San Felipe.BigGrin BigGrin BigGrin

Hi:
I got the first installment of the Sovereign of the Seas in the mail today. I am in the middle of building the San Felipe. I want to start this build too. Is is better to do one at a time, or can you do two at a time and still do a good job. I was thinking about building one month on each model.

BigGrin Hi, Its all down to personal choice if you think you can cope with two builds then go for it, Just remember as the builds progress there is more to be done aswell as the rigging which can be time consuming. Whatever you choose to do the best of luck with both builds.Cool
Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Hi there Keith and welcome to model space...It is nice to have a couple of builds on the go especially if you are held up waiting for, say, paint or glue to dry on one or for parts to arrive..we all know the feeling when we're just itching to get on with our builds and there is always something in the wings holding us back?? So, I just say, go for more than one build, what ever fits your journey in modelling. Hope you enjoy your Sovereign build, its a real adventure!! Happy building...Look forward to seeing your progress.

Hi Keith, many members here have more that one model on the go at any one time. It can also break up some of the tedius tasks into more manageable chucks where you can perhaps take a break from planking on one kit and do something else on another. Only danger I see with having multiple kits is that many get started and few get finished as the priorities change. Go for two, get one finished before starting another would be my advice....Cool Cool .. Best of luck with whichever way you choose...

Regards

Welcome, Kevin!

It is a great kit! I've been getting one from the UK for about a year now, and it is a great model! You'' have a blast with it.

I'm out in Reno, so there is at least one other US guy building it.

Just so you know, the amendments to the Italian & English instructions have been updated into the US instructions.
