Jack, when I said Kit Bash it, I meant "what the Cursing I'm sure that supposed to go there Confused Why dont mine look like the box Confused Ohhh FCursing it!!! then it would fly three meters out the window LOL LOL LOL But in all hopes, I do want to add more detail to it with some lighting etc, so will see how it goes (Fingers Crossed)BigGrin

LOL!!! Been there with that one!!! You'll be amazed how far a 1:72 Lanc can go if you throw it hard enough, and it did it very gracefully too!!! pmslBigGrin BigGrin

LOL...when I was 14 I saved up all my money & bought a P51D Mustang...the equivalent size is 1:24 not sure what it was then.It cost me £25...& that was in the 70's!!I note that it now costs £50.
I spent months painting & building it,even put an electric motor in so that the propellor spun.At the time we lived in an old georgian villa in Scotland & my younger brother decided to see if it would fly...from a 3rd floor window!!!Cursing Needless to say that although it did "fly" a fair distance gravity overtook it rather rapidly...it actually made a quite impressive crater in the lawn. That was the end of my modelling days until recently when I decided to revisit my childhood with a few kits...then along came the Victory.
Quite tempted to get a Mustang kit again & see if I can get it anywhere near as good, although unfortunately I no longer have the expert advice of someone who actually flew them to guide me.

I made the 1/24 spitfire when that was cheap aswell.

I've got this beasty to build when I get round too it 1/32 Tornado. Its quite large... I also have seen this actual plane at an airshow too.
My others are Tamiya 1/48 spitfire/mosquito and Thunderbolt. An Eduard 1/48 fw190d and a 1/72 Tornado Ecr with resin wheel bays/cockpit and color photo etch..All sat in a box waiting in vain for me too build...lol

On the bench

1/350 Revell Tirpitz Platinum Edition (Pontos PE and Wooden deck) plus extra Eduard PE set and extra MK1 door sets.

Thats a sweet jet you have there Magpie, and the paintwork is just out of this world Drool

I dont know what it it about plastic models, but for some reason, I always go back to them.

Some of the ship models are also very detailed.

Magpie, quick question, do you know of any sites that specialise in upgrade detail kits for these models, I'm trying to find some extra bits for the C-130? I can remember someone on the site stating that they liked adding extra details to Air-fix etc models, not sure if it was you, sorry if I'm wrong.

If you use google chrome it translates most of it.
The jap site even tells you on the site what parts are in each issue.

Well me model arrived this morning, and I must say Im impressed with it, especially the Photographic Reference Manual that came with it, I can't believe how much detail they have included.
The only thing I did notice was it's not the AC-130, but I will keep it anyway, and send for the other one as well.

After I was kindly given a link to this site, I will also be adding the detail packs, so a big thanks Magpie mate!!!!!.

Anyway, here are some images to start off with.

The link I sent before was for 1/48 Italeri . Have you made sure you ordered 1/72 extras. Just a thought when I saw your pics and they were 1/72.
