Hey guys just thought I would introduce myself. Name is Joel, I live up in PA on the east coast of the US. Basically I love to build stuff. Models, LEGO kits, Model Rockets, furniture, etc. If I can put it together I love to get my hands on it. I mostly like to build kits and such as I really don't have the patience and skill to do much in the way of scratch building. However, I have a good friend that is keen on doing a bit of scratch building, and custom decal making, so between the two of us we can turn out some pretty cool models. The models I have been building lately are Gundam/mecha kits. They snap together and are mostly pre-colored. I build about 80% of them OOB, I find it relaxing to snip, file, and snap. From time to time though I do get inspiration for painting one, and/or customizing one. I will be joining the ranks of the Millennium Falcon builders shortly and look forward to talking more with everyone. Till then. DeAgostini kit builds:
Millennium Falcon: 18% Complete Shelby GT-500: 28% Complete Thunderbird 2: 13.75% Complete

Thanks for the welcome guys looking forward to it. The subscription aspect really works well for me as I don't have time to always build a kit from start to finish. With this setup I can work on it a bit at a time as parts show up and then set it aside till the next batch. I will say, until this kit I didn't know about this company. Probably a good thing as I would be broke. That spitfire kit looks amazing as well. If they ever make a P-38 lightning I will be all over it. Also I am aware of the parts available on shapeways. I am debating getting them because I am not really sure I want to put that much work into the interior. I am mostly interested in the exterior. I may spring for the parts in the cockpit though since those are easily viewable from the outside. Of course I could always change my mine. DeAgostini kit builds:
