Hi all! any idea how far up the shrouds do the upper shroud poles go its all wrong in the book Confused & how best to get the shrouds equal on the upper shroud pole
on the bench soverign of the seas & hms hood , collecting hms victory

Glad you got it sorted nick, IMHO I thought this was one of the trickiest parts of the build,though I did make life harder for myself by tying the knots at the back of the shrouds to hide them.

Its taking me 10 mins per ratline im using the hitch knot method ifthats what its called wasnt in the royal navy BigGrin

I did the same Nick, tied each and every knot... Took an absolute age, was tedious at times to do but think the results were worth the effort....Cool Cool .. Keep at it, you do reach the end eventually....BigGrin BigGrin
