Just a question about the 'longitudinal reinforcements' described in issue 30. At the stern end they do not lie flush with the deck on my model. The deck rises up slightly at this point so when I add the reinforcements (the thickest of the three supplied) there is a small gap between them and the deck. I know these will be covered up when I add the upper hull planks but does anyone else have this issue?

Hi Simon do not worry about the small gap just make sure they are well glued to the ribs as these will carry the dummy canons later in the build Hope this helps . Thanks Martyn. Nice to get on with something other than doing the lower hull - seems like months!
