Howdy,
I'm brand new to these De Agostini model kits. I saw a commercial on TV for the Falcon kit and checked it out. The Falcon is way too big for me to do anything with except donate it to a charity auction or something. I settled on the Redbull RB7. BTW, is there a market for these things once they are built (either selling, charity auction, etc)? I like to build things but it usually ends there and it just collects dust after that. Ends up in a box, and then ends up damaged in a move, then it dies in storage somewhere. I'm sure I'm not the only one here that's had that happen..:(
I've built a lot of stuff over the years. Lots of plastic models, Legos, and electronics like power supplies, meters, etc. I've even had some of the early small gas powered cars from Cox with no RC that you had to run down a string (dating myself). A few of these kits look like a great combination of all four.
I've never tried anything as high quality and expensive as this. I'm looking forward to it. The first two months shipped last Friday...
