Pack 23 contains stages 73-76.

Stage 73 contains side stand, pivot, spring, footrests, rubber footrests and screws.

For this stage you will need the motor cycle, base frame, something to stand the model on and 6 AAA battery's.

Remove the ignition key from the bike frame and make sure the key on the base frame is switched of then remove the battery boxes covers from both frames and insert three battery's into each battery box, replace the covers and tighten the screws. Next place the frame on the base making sure the IR sensor and receiver are lined up with each other then insert the key into the frame and turn the key in the base to the red dot position.

Now we can test the electronics.

The Headlight, Instruments and Brake light

The right hand switch has a slider with a 'L' and 'H' above it, sliding it to the 'L' position should light up the headlight [dipped beam] ,instruments and brake light. Sliding the switch to the 'H' position will give a full beam effect. Next press the brake pedal and the brake light should glow brighter you can also turn the brake light on by turning the key in the base frame to the black dot position. Return the right slider to its off position.

The Indicators, Horn,Volume control,Starter switch and Kick starter.

The left slider has an 'L' and 'R' at either end sliding the switch to the left will turn on the left indicators and the right side when pushed to the right. The volume control when turned to the left will lower the sound and when turned to the right make it louder. The button below the left hand slider will make the horn work the right hand side button when pressed once will give the sound of the bike being started with the electric starter, pushing it again will be the sound of the bike ticking over. To stop the sound turn the key on the base frame to the off position. Pushing the kick starter down and letting go will also produce the sound of the engine starting again use the base frame key to switch off the sound.

If any of the above do not work firstly check all the connectors are seated correctly and if they still do not work contact customer services for replacement parts.

Take the fuel tank and remove the two Honda logos. Next support the main bike frame and remove the steering bolt, hold the front forks about 5mm forward of the frame and slide the fuel tank into position then replace the front forks onto the frame. Now use an 'A' type screw to fix the tank in position and replace the Honda logo, do the same for the other side.

Take the side stand and check the spring fits, I found that fitting the stand first then attaching the spring was the best way to do this. So fit the side stand to the frame using the threaded pin and allen key then mount the spring hook onto the stand and fix to the frame using a 'N' type screw. Check that the side stand pivots correctly.

Next take the two footrests and rubbers line each one up with the 'D' shaped hole and push gently home making a pair. Line up the left hand footrest with the frame making sure it lines up with the notch and press gently home. On the right side push down the brake pedal and move the oil hose to one side to fit the foot rest again pushing gently home

This concludes stage 73, store any assembled parts safely in a bag labeled with the stage number for future use.

Next take the pillion foot rest and rubber line it up with the 'D' shaped hole and push home. Now take the bracket and slide it onto the foot rest making sure the holes are aligned then place the pivot into the hole and using pliers wrapped in masking tape squeeze the pivot into place then check its movement. Line the footrest up with the left hand side silencer taking note of the notch at the top, Align the foot rest with the notch and fix in place with a 'P' type screw. Check that the footrest moves freely.

At this part of the instructions it is recommended that you use a silicon oil spray to dress the tryes and not the grease provided with the kit earlyer in the build.
