Visited the Gordon Highlanders museum and spotted this fabulously detailed dio depicting a typical urban warfare scene. This is most certainly a work of art... Hope you enjoy....

Thanks for looking in guys and the comments. The museum is not very large but well worth a visit if ever you are in the neck of the woods. There are more VC's on show than I have ever seen anywhere else with some remarkable stories of bravery being told throughout the Gordon Highlanders history.... The pics don't really do the dio real justice, the detail was something to behold with all the interior modelling done too, depicting the defensive barracades being used all the way down to the tiny bullet holes around the windows... I will visit again and this time will try to get some real close up shots.

The dio depicts the scene around the allies attempting to take over a typical town just after the Normandy invasions.....
