Hi Dave Thanks for looking in and your comments, I agree she looks very tasty with her colours and must admit in real life here Im well chuffed with how she looks and dare I say it quite impressive . I am starting to see how a 64 gunner although classed as a Third rate ship could and did have a large fear factor to other ships as her presence is now starting to show through I think. Thanks for looking in and your comments. Regards Andy Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

More beautiful work Andy and I'm so chuffed to see you're hand painting this one.. I think airbrushing has its place in modelling but on this genre of wooden ships hand painting is the only way to go, it gives a far better old worn and textured appearance to the overall build..... .. Loving it.... Regards Alan

Hi Cris and Alan Thanks both for your comments and iI totally agree about hand painting being the only way to go with this sort of period model. Regards Andy Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Hi All The hull is now painted on both sides and looks like an angry wasp . The gallery has been finished on both sides and the stern, I did something different here and used the cast soft metal shaped bar to enhance the balcony upper and lower rails and to close the end of the nameplate panel by turning them up to follow the hull shape. Finally the two closed lower gun ports were added, this more or less finishes the stern apart from the rudder glove and the three lanterns which I will add later in the build. More soon. Regards Andy arpurchase attached the following image(s): Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .
