Hi All Here she is all finished although Im still awaiting the storage box as are others. Little to do this month just finish off the leg guard, add the flag carrier and helmet lacings plus some tidying up here and there. Over all it has been a pleasure to make this as it has introduced me to new skills and has been well worth the effort. Hi All Here are some pictures of the Armour on the display box provided with the kit, the box is made from sturdy cardboard and takes the weight without any problem and is a nice addition to the finished Armour allowing it to be displayed as would the full size Armour. Fabulous work Andy, beautifully put together - very neat and tidy - and it looks superb on display. The box looks great too and you wouldn't know it was cardboard at first glance?!
I often wonder how Date Masamune managed to move quickly when fighting in a confined space with that huge crescent on his helmet? Must have been a complete nightmare if riding through a forest with low branches?!

Kev On the model the crescent is detachable, possibly it was only in place for ceremonial duties and was detached before going into battle? As you say, it looks a bit of a liability otherwise
