Ok sounds good.. I may do that as I reach specific points in the build.. So far its a great kit, a few things need to be tightened up in the parts (Specifically N1 and O1, very confusing which way they attach) and the holes for the dowels were a bit too big.

There is a note in the Official build about the placement of N1 and 1O

A little to late for that. The kits should have had a small note dropped in them. I guess mine is backwards, i've got 1N towards the rear and 1O towards the nose.. ;(

Welcome to the forum Wnt2Fly and I must say that looks like a nice tidy start to your build, well done. A sensible idea to paint the plywood parts before removing them from the carrier piece, much easier that way and also means there is no paint on the glue points which will help adhesion? Then just a simple case of touching up the edges where necessary - a well thought out method!! 
You should post your diary on this forum as well, I have no doubt it will be well received by the other members?

Ok all i'll post my photos here as well, i'll make a build diary later today
You don't need to have an account on twitter to follow there, its very convenient to take photos and push them to twitter w/in seconds. But I planned on posting pics to some other forums as well, so I'll include this place as well.
