I am at issue 57 now.  Its sucks that you so behind, I would have lost it! Enjoy the build when you receive the rest. If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough.

I received issues 47-50 today so that is halfway with the series. Then it will be the extra issues for the 2 speed gearbox. We do not have a CNA here in town so we had to go the subscription route. It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop

I am having difficulty with the rear wing, the screws are to small and don't want to go in. Well if I force it, it might go in but than I break it. Anybody with the same issue? If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough.

Hi MsTr_B, I will look at the rear wing this weekend and see if I have the same problem. As to after run in oil, go to your rc hobby shops. If you are going to be running the motor every weekend, do not worry about it. It is another story if you are going to store the motor for a while. You will find all the answers on the forum pages. It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop

Thank you will be appreciated. I read on the build dairy and they say with the motor that is still being built and that is will stand for a while they suggest to put after run oil. I will pop into the local hobby shop here and see if they have. If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough.

Ok MsTr_B, I have checked my mounting screws without mounting the wing and they do not turn in all the way. When I mount the wing they go in all the way up to the chassis. This is what I suggest. Take a piece of wire and check the depth of the hole so that you can see how far the screw can go. Rub some normal soap on the threads of the screws and turn them in until they stop. They will protrude a bit. Turn them out and then mount the wing. The soap makes the screws turn easier. I hope this helps. It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop

Received issues 51 - 54 today so there will be some building this weekend  I now have all the shocks so they will be assembled. I must still sort out the excessive play on the one front wheel bearing. It really wobbles inside the rim  It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop

I am by issue 63 now, just need to go get some thread lock. Andre that's weird, hope you can sort it out. Don't have any play on mine. If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough.

The play on the wheel bearings and rims has been discussed on the forums but I have now come to a screeching halt. The thread on the shaft of the rear shock is damaged  What they did there I do not know. I cannot even repair it with a 3mm die  I will contact them tomorrow for a replacement part and let's see if I get it. It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop

hi
I am finished with the driveshaft to the diff and have received the engine block getting super excited now.
watched a video on youtube about running in your engine from traxxas and they recommend to put in some run in oil before you start your engine for the first time.
Also think the car looks silly standing on 3 wheels why they have done it like that I don't know

The car does look crap on 3 wheels, I wanted to see for a wheel and mag somewhere just scared they send other parts with the 4th wheel issue. If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough.

On the 21 August I received my issues and found a problem with the shock in issue 54 I phoned Jacklin on Monday and I was told that I would receive another issue in two weeks time. Lo and behold, it was in my post box on Friday so I cannot complain about the service that I get from them. My only problem is that it is slow going with the build, but they say that patience is a virtue  It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop

Started getting the motor issues, received the piston and today.  Getting excited now! If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough.

I received the motor issues and started to put it together now, used the after run oil. Cant wait for the next few issues. If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough.
