I have not built a model in years - last thing I built was a 1:24 Airfix Harrier jump-jet kit, it was awesome but by no means close to this project. Looking forward to it. even if with a little trepidation. Here goes lets have some fun:)
Current build : The Victory
Pending builds : none - yet
Built loads of bikes trucks planes and boats - all plastic kits.
on wish list - a 1:24 spitfire, in wood, plastic, just as long as I can build it :)

Hope you really enjoy your build.

Tomicks official build is excellent and gives some very clear photos showing how things fit together.

The guys and gals on this forum are also brilliant with the massive amount of skill and knowledge they have between them.

Welcome aboard shipmate.

Regards

AJB

Quintin - cool Flapper

I am rather glad it is coming in weekly installments - its flippin huge :)

Back to my post - sourced a much better ochre today, the first I got was way too brown, this is a better yellow, made by lifecolor. And I got me a likkle hand drill for the carronade so we can do a bit more on this beautiful build Love

Hey Dontshootme

Yeah, I read the post about paint. I did go get an ochre but it was too brown, so went and found an ochre that is more yellow then the previous one I had.

OK so I got issue 4 yesterday - I cannot tell you how glad I am that in this issue I dont have to buy any tools or paint or anything else extra BigGrin Put the ribs together last night but gonna do a little bit more on the carronade sometime. I was too knackered to attempt it last night. I would have just stuffed it up.Flapper The interesting parts were the infamous parts 15 - they look fairly well lined up but we will see - Oh and before I get shot down - no I haven't glued them to the keel yet - Flapper
