Hello all! I'm a huge Star Wars fan and seen this kit on Tested's YouTube page,so I didn't hesitate and leaped in head first! I have next to 0 model building experience besides when I was probably around 8, so I'm learning and adapting as I go.
I'm going to be posting pictures soon once I get them on my PC. I state again, I have no real experience so lurking on this forum and absorbing information has been a real confidence boost!

Welcome to the buid, hope you enjoy it Take your time and follow the instructions closely and you cant go too wrong. If you want to try and techniques then just use some scrap plastic, things like plastic spoons, yoghurt pots etc that way it doesnt matter if you make a mistake. There are instructions to cover painting which you can then expand on if you feel confident enough, but if not you should achieve a good finish anyway. You will find that you are bombarded with ideas, its tough to wittle them down to what you want to try yourself. Best of luck and look forward to following

Great to see another Tested convert! I hopped on this after watching their video also! (And just bought an Anovos Original Trilogy Stormtrooper armor kit after watching the video with Norm and Frank with the Shadowtrooper kit).
The guys here are such amazing builders you'll have no choice but to advance in your model-making skills by just jumping from thread to thread getting inspiration and ideas.
Enjoy the journey - I'm having a great time building and learning!

Thanks guys! My account got billed for the second round of parts, so I'm waiting to dive into that. I just finished up the front two seats finally, they were giving me a headache and I couldn't get the weathering quite right.
Pictures will be up soon!

Month 2 just arrived today on my day off, so I got a lot of painting done today. Enjoy! Finished seats! Painted and weathered the cockpit floor and sides a little bit, still needs work... Seeing how things looked put together after painting/weathering parts... Checking out the cockpit tube and how it fits together... Full mock assembly, this thing is going to be awesome! Waiting on the power supply, so my lamp bulb will have to do! As always, I'm open to feedback and tips! Happy building!

Primed floor and walls for the hold, working on the bench seats and other little things... Cockpit is coming along... Finally got the battery pack for the cockpit lights! Painted the sticker to bring out the colors a little better...

Looks like you're off to a great start. I'm still waiting for paint supplies and some cockpit upgrades from Shapeways to arrive before cracking the seal on my first pack of parts. The You Tube tutorials really got me going from painting to fiber optics- very inspiring. Take your time and have fun.
