Very nice Dave!!
I have seen these built in the past and they really do look something when completed. Love the 'Picture Frame/Balkenkreuz' idea, I think that will work very well. It might look even better over a 'Swastika', though I suspect you might get a few disapproving comments thrown at you if you did that, as it's a touchy subject in some quarters isn't it?
Looking forward to seeing this progress - well done.

Hi looks a great display piece.look forward to see it made up.and how you choose to display it.when ya scratch build the rest the plane to go with it, don't forget diary. (Only kidding) . Glad I could help with the display thoughts Dave and I too think the Swastika would look better (and not just because I said it either! ). I too agree with your opinions on the use of the Swastika and I don't see any reason why people shouldn't be allowed to use it? After all, it was and still is a part of history, like it or not, and history should not be changed just to please some peoples' view of the world however evil or disillusioned the perpetrators of the original events might be?
