Hi everybody. Been wanting it for a few months and finally convinced my better half that this is a good idea and not a complete waste of money. And after a little bit of shipping problem with month 1 (I had the binder and month 2 before 1 ever arrived), I was able to begin. I have done some model work in the past, but nothing too extravagant, or detailed. I've also never really done much airbrush work, so overall this is going to be a learning experience for me. Started doing some work to the Falcon I'll post what paints I used later for each (They are all outside in my shop). Here's my current work on the cockpit interior. Need to do a little more work on the rear seats. Did bring the door piece out closer to the front, just used a piece of Styrofoam glued in there. Have found an issue in some places where some superglue residue will form around some parts after gluing them, but hasn't been too bad. I hope I get a bit better with that as it goes. Did a little more work in the cockpit area today. Added the console dash, painted along the outside of the sticker so it's not white and noticeable. Did some detailing to the center console as well. Viper DeCobray attached the following image(s):

Looks good. I like the weathering of the seats. I am interested in the paints you selected since I am still gathering supplies.
Welcome to the forum.

The paints I'm using are Vallejo and citadel, so far anyways. A little more that I've done lately Had considered ordering a more accurate floor, but decided against it. Will be ordering some other pieces for the hold, such as the chair that goes near the engineering station and some other things. Viper DeCobray attached the following image(s):

Yea, I don't know why, but I'm always happiest putting the frame together, myself. The one thing I'm not really looking forward to is painting the hull. But I am going to wait until it's all here before even priming any pieces, so I've got some time to worry on that. Though tonight, I did paint the upper quad gun: Viper DeCobray attached the following image(s):

I think that if the rest of your painting and weathering is of that standard then you have very little to worry about..... Looking very nice !!!!

I agree with everyone. You have plenty of skills and artistic ability. You have nothing to worry about.
Those cannons are awesome.

Very nice work on the quads Viper, I don't think you need to worry about having to do the rest of the hull

I agree. The quads look great. I think you are being very modest. Your off to a great start and your painting/weathering skills will put mine to shame. Looking good!

Got Shipment 4 the other day, so have gotten to do a little bit of work this week. I finished weathering and assembling the hold. I'm pretty sure I'll add some more details such as some 3D printed pieces as that hold definitely needs some clutter to it. Also attached the newest bottom frame pieces. And then just slapped the hull plates on for a picture. When Force Friday came along, I bought one of the Titanium Series Falcon. I was really impressed with the amount of details on this one compared to the ones I got back in 2007 or so. It also has the front landing gear boxes that the earlier releases were lacking. But I wasn't happy with the paint scheme, so I bought a second one and painted it. I'm quite happy with how it turned out, though I'll probably touch up some of the reddish colored plates on it. Another thing I found out, it's almost the exact same size as the smaller filming model that was used to show the Falcon up on the back of the Star Destroyer in "ESB". So when I finish the BtMF, I might display this one along with it. Viper DeCobray attached the following image(s):
