Looking fab, beautifully put together...Drool Drool .. Furling sails is not something I have tried so I'll look forward to seeing how you get on with it and how it looks. I applied footropes to my spars, just felt the spars looked as if some important details were missing...Cool Cool .. Look forward to your next update...

Hello everyone ,haven't really got much done over the last week, been messing about with the mainsail. I didn't really want the lower sails to be full for a couple of reasons the main one being they will obscure the deck details also they tend to be a bit loose and have slack lines. In the end I decided to go for a half furled version. Have just added the upper sail, not done the lines yet. Would like to know what you guys think.

Hi
I like that a lot.

As you say it does give a better view of the deck.

All you need now is a few sailors hauling the sail up.

Thanks for looking in delboy ken and Martyn, glad you like the sails.Delboy the ship only comes with one climbing figure so he is gonna be one busy chap. Ken I do wish you would stop putting yourself down, have you not read the comments in your finished build entries? And your water effects make me want to get my panel saw and cut my sovereign in half and have a go.

Very nice in deed nightwisher...the way that the sails are does allow you to see the detail of the deck below..I think that I shall go down that route with my sails....Lovely job mate!!

Thanks for the positive comments On the main sail guys.I am trying to get all the sails fitted on the main mast before posting more pics, so many lines for each one. Gandale as you can see I did go down the ropewalk route even though they are a pain in the bum I think they're worth it, I do find it strange they were not included in the instructions, I can't even see any on the promotion pictures.

And an excellent job you've done of them too.... I agree they are a pain to get to look just right but you've produced high quality results like the rest of your work.....Drool Drool .. Very well done.

Time for another update, managed to get all the sails on the main mast without to much hassle the hardest bit is probably belaying the lines behind the shrouds, a few rude words uttered here and there.I decided to fit some fake rope coils to the pins before moving on, I have on earlier builds left this till last but becomes very tedious making them all in one go. Next job fitting the lower fore sail which will also be semi furled.
